Geocache Description:

First or Last view of the Sea when coming to or leaving the Bay of Plenty

Small rest area on the road between Auckland and Tauranga. Just east of the Athenree Gorge. First or last view out over the inner harbour and over the Bowentown Heads.
Can be a busy rest area over holidays.

You are in full view from the main road when finding the cache.
