My little league players have helped to hide 4 of our 5 cache locations this Spring. This cache is located at Porter Park, where the team spends lots and LOTS of time practicing their ball skills and learning to show good sportsmanship. This park is a great place to bring the kids to play. There is a very nice play area, a frisbee golf course, and a very nice log cabin with picnic tables, where you often will see Scouts having their camp and get-togethers. I LOVE this park. It also is home to cache box "Porter Park", a large ammo box that is a great, easy find and a great place to trade TBs.
If you bring a FRISBEE, you can easily say that you are digging next to a giant tree just past one of the Frisbee baskets looking for your overshot frisbee. (That's what we did in case we were noticed in the tree line by this area; alas, noone was around).
Inside this orange, water-proof match holder, covered in camo, the FTF will find a log and a yummy treat coupon for after the game... just like the others.
Congrats to the goups efforts of Puma Cachers and jmoehling for being the FTFs. I knew I should've put more coupons in there. And the Frisbee Golf is not only fun, the enitre course is FULL of beautiful scenery! We were in the park from 9:30am to 10:30 am today, and we had the entire park to ourselves. It was awesome!!!!
