April 22, is Earth Day, it is also King B's Birthday. This cache is
placed in this park where he has celebrated many a birthday, to
commemorate these two great occasions.
Welcome to Centerville City Park. This quiet city park located in
downtown Centerville has been a mainstay for locals since its
inception in 1957. The park contains the city swimming pool where
you can cool off during the summer months. The pavillions provide a
great place to host a birthday party or just to relax. There are
also lots of things for the kids to climb, swing and slide on. King
B used to run and play here all the time. Now he just walks around
and looks cool for the ladies. There is also a scenic overlook
where you can see the Duck River below and maybe see a train go by.
The park is closed nightly at 10 p.m. so plan accordingly. This
cache is placed with the permission of The Mayor of Centerville.
