The cache is located on a headland about 30 km east of Girne (Kyrenia) near the ancient settlement of Moulos. The bay to the east of the headland is the proposed site of the Port Cyprium marina. The bay to the west, despite it's scruffy appearance is good for swimming and easily accessible on foot from the parking point.
Heading east along the new coast road from Girne (Kyrenia) look for the blue sign indicating the start of the Gazimagusa (Famugusta) district, a couple of kilometres past the turning to Baceli. Then look for the yellow Boray signs for the Seaside Apartments Follow these and park just beyond the Roots Bar opposite the entrance to the Seaside Apartments.
In early summer (May / June) the grass on the headland is waist high and small paths become overgrown. Proper footware i.e not flip flops is advisable at these times.
Please replace the cache carefully and ensure that it is well hidden as this area is regularly grazed by goats.
Please take the time to explore the headland and the unusual geological formation on the waterline. In the spring the headland is mass of wild flowers including orchids.
Small note on cache maintenance: There is a local cache guardian who will assist.
