Houston "Academy" For Geocaching Traditional Cache
Dragonrods: To those that found it I hope you all had a goodtime. Those that couldn't find it, I am sorry that I have to close this but I am being flooded with emails about requests for hints and some people just flat out asking me to tell them where it is... Due to the flood of mail and problems that seem to be going on with this cache, I am sorry to say I have to close it...I give up, I went out this morning and removed the cache container. This cache is now closed.
Thanks for all the fun and I hope to place a new one that might be easier to find at this same location...

There are many ways to enter the area for this cache. Most of the trails for this cache will require you to walk up some slopes, not mountains or peaks but slopes (elevations of 10ft to 15ft max). The trail is mostly hardpack but you could find a creek along the way, if it has rained. Look for the VERY LARGE pine along the path. TIP: The trees get pretty thick in there so give your GPS a chance to "lock in" on your position.
The original cache contents are a logbook/pen/geocaching letter, flag pin, bottle of Rem oil, handwarmer, match holder, mini flashlight, small air pump, Coleman multi tool and a baseball. All the items were purchased at, you guessed it, Academy.... Enter the trail by the sign that says "University maintenance stops here".. The cache is a 3qt. camo container tied to a fallen tree. It is well covered so you will have to look close. Please cover it in the same manner as to make sure it is not seen from the trail by a walker. Have fun and good luck..
