Geocache Description:

An easy walk in a nice wooded area. This is also along the starting area of the Carter Creek. It is an ammo can with log and a President Gold Dollar for FTF.Lots of goodies. The second in a series on the Carter creek.

This is a small wooded public hunting grounds. A very pretty area along the head of the Carter Creek. This is the 2nd of 3 that bring people to the headwaters of this creek. Parking is at N44 05.957 W089 34.991. Parking area is small. The creek runs under the road Just north of the parking spot. Isn't very big here but there is an occasional small trout for those willing to fight the wood ticks. They can be bad here by opening day of trout season. The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Paul Somerdyke of the Wisconsin DNR office in Wautoma. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed land require permission by means of a notification form.
