Well, I sure hope none of the Lions, Tigers, or Bears have escaped from the zoo. Start hiking from the Duluth Zoo parking lot and follow the fence and then take the old road up the hill. It is all up hill to the cache. This is one of the places where I do a lot of MT. Bike riding.

If you continue on up the road you can make a 2.5 mile round trip back to the zoo. I have spotted many deer on this trail.
