Calgary Area Cachers teaming up with The City of Calgary Parks

The Calgary Parks 100 Project is a partnership between the City
of Calgary Parks, and the Calgary Area Cachers to celebrate Calgary
Parks 100th anniversary. Calgary Parks has supplied cache
containers and swag for 100 caches, and the we have placed these
100 caches in 100 parks around Calgary.
Over the last few years this area has slowly been developed into
a park from a wilderness area. Much of the original vegetation and
features were left intact while it now includes paved pathways for
people to wander along and enjoy nature. Parks connect children and
adults to environmental knowledge, engagement, and stewardship
practices. In an increasingly populated and globally connected
world, sharing a concern for the planet and the environment
holistically will hopefully be a common thread of the future.
