Farmer Owen had a farm,
Ee i ee i oh!
And on that farm he had some olives,
Ee i ee i oh!
This series is a chance to travel the country side near Owen and see the diversity of agriculture in this area of the Adelaide Plains. The series is a set of simple drive by caches. This would be great to do with children.
Olives are recent additions to the landscape around Owen. The plants are tough and don’t required large amounts of water. Wild olives can be a problem in some areas as birds scatter the fruit. The GPS struggled a little here to get accuracy.
