And on that farm he had some pigs,
Ee i ee i oh!
This series is a chance to travel the country side near Owen and see the diversity of agriculture in this area of the Adelaide Plains. The series is a set of simple drive by caches. This would be great to do with children.
Large piggeries such as the sheds up the road scattered throughout the Adelaide Plains provide pork and ham for local market needs as well as for the export market. Most of the pigs go to the abattoirs at Port Wakefield.
