This cache has been placed to highlight the endangered Nowra heath-myrtle which can be found in the Triplarina nature reserve across the road. Originally the cache was in the reserve but (as I discovered when I went to get it published) nature reserves and state forests are administered by the National Parks and Wildlife Service, and no caches are allowed in any of these areas (not just National Parks).
The Triplarina nature reserve is a part of the Shoalhaven state forest. I'm not sure if dogs are allowed, as the access sign doesn't mention them. According to this same sign, motorbikes are not allowed but no mention is made of cars. So given that there are roads leading into the reserve, I will leave it up to your own descretion whether or not to drive in.
Unfortunately the accuracy of my GPSr blows out as soon as I walk under trees, so the co-ordinates may be out by a few metres, but there are only a few places capable of a hiding a cache at GZ (don't worry you only have to go a few metres off the road).
The Triplarina reserve is one of the few areas with the endangered Nowra heath-myrtle (Triplarina nowraensis). See if you can find one.
Congratulations to Mick-Dyana for another FTF.
