Geocache Description:

Girl Scout Troop 81816

Pre-CITO

This cache was placed by Girl Scout Troop 81816 during an Earth Day weekend hike in Cheesequake State Park. The troop learned about geocaching and the concept of CITO as well as scouted areas in the park that could use clean-up. They plan on holding their 1st official CITO event in the near future.

Girl Scout Troop 81816 past involvement in clean-up projects have included the Lawrence Harbor Beaches and the 911 Memorial at the Old Bridge Municipal Center. The girls will be heading back to the Lawrence Harbor Beaches later in the year.

The location of the cache offers a scenic view of the marshes. The cache container was originally hidden with the following contents:
