Placed as part of the Scout Festival held at WCTC on May 1st, 2010.
27-Feb-2016: The fallen tree has disintegrated over time, so the hidey hole it was hidden in is no longer there. Swapped the micro with an ammo can, which is better suited for this area anyway.
In the spirit of the scout slogan, "Do a good turn daily", you'll need to turn something over to make the find. Also, you should "Be Prepared" for mosquitoes!
Dense tree cover and a multitude of hiding spots could make this one pretty tough. I'll say right off the bat that it's not in or on the large tree. The area can get pretty bushwacky, so here's my recommendation for the best way in: First, look for the small brick building at the far edge of the campus. Behind that there is a fire hydrant. In a line extending from the building past the hydrant there's a small opening into the woods. You're on your own from there!
Please park in the WCTC parking lot, not on the road. Please, no night caching either or you'll likely get a visit from the sheriff. Placement approved by Jeffrey Leverenz of WCTC.
