Geocache Description:

A small cache near the iron bridge on the Ladies walk. Please be careful at the bridge you do not need to go on the wrong side of the railings IT IS A LONG WAY DOWN.

The cast iron bridge was built by local firm, Tasker and Fowle, in 1851 to carry the Ladies Walk footpath over Micheldever Road Also the bridge is meant to be haunted A white lady is supposedly meant to haunt over and below the bridge. It's been said that there was a young girl who stole a horse and was chased and she and the horse jumped off the bridge, hoof beats are often heard up there at night.........
