This is a beautiful valley just outside the village of Doddington.
The cache is about 0.5 miles from the road. There is a lay-by for parking at the entrance to the footpath N 51° 16' 18.33" E 0° 45' 34.66". The cache can be accessed from other directions, but there is not suitable parking.
It is a 3.4 litre clip-top box and is located on the edge of a pit. You will have to be sufficiently agile to get to it, making it more difficult for larger cachers, who may have to send in someone smaller. (I'm sure most kids would be very willing to get it!) But it should be OK for most able-bodied cachers.
It may be a good idea to bring a torch if you are not caching in broad daylight.
The cache contains a logbook, pen and pencil, and plenty of goodies, so don't forget to bring some swaps!
There is a ropeswing nearby, which I have tried myself, but it may be quite old, and I accept no responsibility for any injuries it causes!
Please tell me if the coordinates need adjusting and what you think they should be as I do not have a GPS and rely on Google Earth!
