This cache is a magnetic 35mm film pot placed at about 1.5m (5ft) above ground level. Sorry, this cache is unlikely to be accessible to wheelchair cachers.
The Watch the Birdie! Series is based on the temporary locations where those gallant people strive, rain or shine, day and night, to make our roads that little bit safer.
It is not unusual for this very long straight 60mph road to be used as a place to overtake those vehicles that have until now been travelling well below the speed limit.
Caution!
The road to the west of the cache is downhill and the speed of those slow vehicles may have crept up such that they are travelling at the speed limit when you overtake them.
Remember:
If you don't want to get caught - don't do it!
There is off-road parking for two cars 5m east of the final cache location that is located here:

I had hoped to place the cache at the start location but it turns out that this bypass cuts through a site of special scientific interest (SSSI), so I couldn't.
There is parking for many cars, a place to grab some food and drink, and public lavatories at the petrol station to the north of the cache.
