Another addition to the San Geronimo Creek series.
San Geronimo Creek runs from NW Bexar County generally SW through NW Bexar County through NE Medina County finally emptying into the Medina River just south of the great metropolis of Rio Medina!
This particular cache is a little out of sync with the other caches of the series,
One- it is not located by a bridge, but is on a real river ford! Not many of those left in the country. When I placed the cache there was about 8 inches of water running across the road.
HOWEVER::: if you attempt to locate this cache after a rain, and the "Road Closed" sign is up, DO NOT attempt to ford the creek at this spot, it is too dangerous. If you really, really have to log the find, then go all the way around and come north from FM 1957. Check your maps.
Two- also, this cache is not magnetic, it is a waterproof match container.
