Geocache Description:

This cache is a camo covered lock & lock container just outside Joann Graf field. It is not wheelchair accessible.

2010 was the final season at Florida State University for one of the top players to ever grace Joanne Graf field. Her name is Carly Wynn. This cache has been established in her honor. During the four years she played softball for the Seminoles she wore number 15. She was a defensive standout in Centerfield feared by opposing hitters and an offensive threat that was found constantly at the top of the Noles hitting statistics. Carly was chosen as team captain by her team for her Sophomore, Junior and Senior season. In the 2009 season she stole 21 bases in 21 attempts, perfection demonstrated.

Carly excelled not only as an athlete for FSU…but as a student as well. She was selected to the All ACC Academic team as well while holding a high GPA.

Carly’s performance and recognized leadership led to her selection in the 2010 Professional Women’s softball draft.

As you seek this cache, remember to glance out onto the field, look to center field, and realize that future Seminoles Women’s softball teams will sorely miss #15, her leadership, her defensive protection in centerfield and the numbers she put on the scoreboard.

Good Luck Cdub and “GO NOLES”.

Trade items in this cache should follow the theme of Seminoles logo stuff and things with #15.
