Geocache Description:

Situated on a walking path across the from the Drouin Golf Course. This cache could be reached by a person in a wheelchair in dry weather provided they start from the end of the path near the entrance to the Drouin Golf Club. Approx 200 metres

Located on a walking path the cache is named after finding two golf balls the results of a badly sliced tee shot from the 10th Tee of the Drouin Gold Course. I had never seen golf balls this far from the golf course before. Cache is in a small plastic screw top container and contains a rubber lizard, an eraser, a brooch, 4 pieces of Origami and the golf balls I found when setting up the cache. Since placing this Geocache the area has been named the Golden Whistler Reserve and has been tidied up and re-planted by the Friends of Drouin's Trees. They have also placed several nesting boxes to provide habitat for native bird species. Since placing this cache in around 2010 it has received over 300 visits.
