Do you remember "Uncle Milte"? I don't. So this cache is about the "burl" on the tree, not Milton Berle the TV Star.
The "burl" on the tree is an abnormality - a clump of fast growing tissue, usually brought about by insect or fungal attack or some other type of stress.
The resulting wood has very interesting grain patterns and is quite coveted by wood-workers. It can make some very cool pens, clocks and such. And of course, you would have burled oak in your Jaguar, wouldn't you?
