Kerikeri (Kerry Kerry), is the largest town in the Far North District of New Zealand, rapidly increasing in population and known as a tourism destination, a citrus fruit producer and being the site of the first permanent mission station in NZ. It has some of the most historic buildings in the country including the oldest. The Stone Store. Pioneering missionaries called it Gloucestertown, or Gloucester Town, but the Maori word Kerikeri, correctly pronounced as Keddi Keddi, or Kiddee Kiddee, is used today. free counters
