Ewyas Harold is a large area of open ground, rich in bird life and having a variety of flowers all through the year. It is exposed to the wind. There are quite a number of seats scattered around the Common. The Herefordshire Trail crosses the common from Ewyas Harold in a North Easterly direction.The common is criss-crossed with tracks and is walkable at all times of the year.
