Barnwood Bunnies Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Evil Edna: There are going to be MAJOR works all around the roundabout so I have removed the cache and am archiving. Many thanks to all the cachers who found it. I will review the possibility of alternative hides when things have developed further.
I hope the bunnies are able to keep safe during the upheaval. We will keep watch and supply carrots as necessary. Edna

Geocache Description:

A 35mm film canister containing log sheet and pencil

The Barnwood Rabbits (Bunnies) live in the most extraordinary colony. It's believed that they have been on the roundabout for some 20 years, if not more.

They have become quite famous, being featured in local and national press as well as BBCTV. They have fans as far away as Canada and New Zealand. Generally loved by the local people, they live their unusual life surrounded by almost constant traffic and activity The Barnwood Bunnies remain both a mystery and an enigma - this makes them even more fascinating.

A micro cache at a very busy roundabout. It will be necessary to park elsewhere and approach the GZ on foot (or pedal-bike).

PLEASE DO NOT STOP ON THE ROUNDABOUT OR ITS APPROACH ROADS.

The location of this cache will give a good view of the local resident wildlife and many transient feral motorists too.
