A two stage cache in the town of Ashburton.
Please note that the above co-ordinates are not for the cache but are very close to the recommended parking in order to find the clues that require solving. In fact, this car park is extremely close to another of my caches – Town Hall Micro GC24CPN – which you may wish to find before moving on to finish solving this one!
Once parked (30p for half an hour is the minimum payment) walk across the bridge into North street and turn right towards Lloyds Bank. You'll need to look up and down for the answers!
General Fairfax lodged at the former Mermaid Inn on January AB 1CD6.
Ashburton town centre enhancement was opened on 1E July 2004.

If you’re walking to the cache it will take you about ten to fifteen minutes to reach it. (Don’t forget to put some more money in the car park ticket machine)! There is parking closer to the cache if you’re in a hurry or just feeling lazy! The cache is a 500ml clip top box in a camouflage bag. It contains plenty of swaps and, at the time of placement, my ‘Casino de Malte’ travel bug beginning its journey! Please hide well once you’ve done the necessaries! Thanks.
