A simple 'park and grab' over-looking one of the old sand pit, part of a series around the village, by Baldy_Bazzer. This is a 0.25L lock-lid plastic container with a small log book and a few small swaps inside.
Being born in the village, I remember playing in the pit close to this location. It was a good sight for fossil hunting and we found many old pieces of fossils after the lupper clay layers had been ploughed over. Of course we never went down into the working pit as it was far too dangerous ;-)
