A new Challenge Cache that everyone can
do!
May 3rd is the Ten Year Anniversary of Geocaching -- so we're
celebrating.
Cache is located at the posted coordinates.
Cachers often run out for the FTF on the day a new cache is
activated. To complete this challenge, you must find four caches,
all on their anniversaries of activation. This challenge will take
a bit of planning.
Based on the date the cache was hidden, find a cache that's
exactly 1, 2, 3, and 4 years old.
A few rules to make it fair for newcomers as well as long-time
cachers:
Previous finds do NOT count.
You must find 4 caches, on their anniversaries, to complete this
challenge. You must find the 4-year-old cache first, then continue
in order, ending with the 1-year-old cache.
The caches must all be found after April 30, 2010. All 4 do NOT
need to be found on the same day.
Use only the hide date--not the publication date--to determine the
cache's anniversary.
Event caches do not qualify for the challenge.
Virtuals and earthcaches do qualify, if you visit them on their
anniversaries to collect the information. Limit 1 virtual OR 1
earthcache in your list of 4--you don't have to have any.
In your "found it" log, list the qualifying caches--include at
least the waypoint ID ("GC number"), their hide dates, and the date
you found them. I will verify your list.
You must sign the log of the physical cache AFTER you've completed
the challenge.
I have borrowed extensively from Bajatym who has many great caches
in Orange County, including the 6 Birthdays Challenge
OC.(GC23CQX),
***CONGRATULATIONS TO HOLAZOLA FOR BEING THE
FIRST TO COMPLETE THE CHALLENGE***
