Selskapet ble etablert i 1929 og har siden vært en betydelig leverandør av redningsvester, livbøyer, overlevelsesdrakter og annet sikkerhetsutstyr som man måtte trenge til sjøs. Mesteparten av varene eksporteres utenlands. Firmaet holder til nært sentrum i den ene enden av Hasdalgata, nært kirkegården.

English:
The company was established in 1929 and has since been a major supplier of life jackets, life buoys, survival suits and other safety equipment that you need at sea. Most of the goods exported abroad. The company is located near the center of one end of Hasdalgata, near the cemetery.
