Geocache Description:

An easy 'drive-by' cache that gives views over the fields to the "Double Arches" quarry where a 2 MegaWatt wind turbine is planned. Also, this area was home to ancient settlements in both Iron Age and Medieval times where the local quarries were already being put to good use.

This cache forms part of a circular walk around Heath & Reach, with a number of caches placed by Baldy_Bazzer. An easy cache with adjacent temporary parking, don't stay there for a long time as it's an entrance to a field containing a number of horses who are sometimes very very inquisitive ;-)

Make sure you check out the information board about the ancient settlements of "Over End Green" and the "Double Arches" quarry.

Enjoy the cache ....
