Stoney Bridge Traditional Cache

A small cache with log only. Hidden, as the name suggests, at the old stone bridge along the trail. Don't forget to look at the views behind you.
Situated along the old Bog Road. This area has been recently improved and now has a 7km (round trip) way marked route. The route winds it's way up through the forest and out onto the plateau above Glencar Lake. By the time you reach the very top of the Bog Road you will have had a height gain of 300m. There are also another 4 caches along this route, so it's a worthwhile hike up. As you find yourself ascending temperatures can drop and conditions can change so please be prepared for inclement weather.
