Geocache Description:

The end of the line. Great views from this point. You are now 350m above sea level. A small cache with a log only so please bring you own pen.We hope you enjoyed the series of caches along this route and if you have time and decent footwear you may like to visit the nearby Chough Cache

Situated along the old Bog Road. This area has been recently improved and now has a 7km (round trip) way marked route. The route winds it's way up through the forest and out onto the plateau above Glencar Lake. By the time you reach the very top of the Bog Road you will have had a height gain of 300m. There are also another 4 caches along this route, so it's a worthwhile hike up. As you find yourself ascending temperatures can drop and conditions can change so please be prepared for inclement weather.
