Geocache Description:

#3 in the Cache to Eagle series highlighting Eagle Scout projects in the Bitterroot valley.

The above coordinates will take you to the first step of this cache. Answer the questions below to get the final coordinates.

This cache is pretty wheel chair accessible. The actual cache retrieval may require assistance. RVs and towing units can participate also. If the area is closed due to high water, RVs and towing units should come back another day.

You can park at the first set of coordinates then take a leisurely stroll along a paved path to the final cache location. While walking keep an eye out for wildlife, Geoboy and I spotted 8 species of birds, 1 reptile that has a shell and one road-killed ungulate.

Small light-weight trade items can be found in the cache along with the log book. Bring your own writing tool.

12/03/10 - The trail between the first location and the final location is not winter maintained. Consequently wheelchair access is not possible. When replacing the container, please place it so the bottom is facing West and pushed up to the top. If the bottom is facing toward the sky, it has more of a tendency to fill with water. Thanks.
