Continuing your walk through Craigvinean forest this track leads you away from Pinecone Viewpoint along a slow going narrow wee path, following a line of old metal victorian fenceposts. An atmospheric trail totally different to your walk so far, with obstacles along the way.

There are steep drops in places, tree roots across the path, mud and slippery moss taking you deeper into the forest, quite dark in places with a variety of tree types. You may have fallen trees to climb over, or wee burns crossing the path - making this an adventurous trail after sticking to the red route up here.

Please take care over any slippery areas, especially when wet, and watch youngsters/dogs on the narrow edges. The wee trail does eventually link up with a grassy forest track and open areas.
