Geocache Description:

Park at Doe mouuntain trailhead off Boynten Pass Rd. (you will need a RedRock pass) The trail is well traveled and well defined all the way up. At the top follow the trail markers to the east rim of the mesa then follow the rim south to the coordinates and one of the best panoramic views of the entire area. The hike is less than a mile one way and offers views of nearly every major rock formation in the area including Cathedral and Bell rock.

This cache was originally hidden on Easter sunday at vultee arch and was called Vulteeaster. However we discovered that Vultee arch is in a protected wilderness area and had to remove the cache. Cache contains a puzzle box with $ for FTF, a laser/flashlight, keychain, bracelet, several easter eggs with prizes and easter pencils. CONGRATULATIONS FLAPPJACK99 !! 1/14/2012 Finally upgraded this one to an ammo box (as all caches should be) double checked cords and left it in good shape. Happy hunting! Per a suggestion from VTsnoangl Deimos and I cleaned out the cache and placed some new swag. 3/9/2024 Had several cachers let us know that the log was full. Deimos and I hiked up today and placed a new log book and some new swag. Along with a good clean out. Happy hunting!!
