Weem Wood lies on a steep and craggy slope above Weem village.
Take a hike through the ancient woodland, cloaked in mystery and alive with tales of hermits, dragons and demons thought to reside amidst the crags.
Follow the red marker posts as the circular path rises steeply ahead of you. There are also steps to climb. You will be ready for a cuppy by the time you get to this viewpoint.
Look at the cup and ring markings on the stones at your feet as you catch your breath. Please watch dogs and youngsters at the edge.
