Geocache Description:

5/30/16 Due to frequent muggles, cache has been moved to a location with better concealment, but still near Tow-Maters home.

The cache is still located on the road right-of-way, with plenty of easy parking. It is a small Rubber-maid container camouflaged with black tape. Watch out for thorns/desert critters. Gloves recommended. BTW, I have no control over how cachers re-hide the cache, so it may take a thorough search to find it.

Holbrook was used as the setting for the Disney movie "Cars", with the name changed to the fictitious "Radiator Springs". While finding this cache, you will recognize several sights from the movie. Check out Tow-Mater and friends in the parking lot nearby.

Also, stop in at Joe and Aggie's Cafe to meet Stanley, and learn more about the inspiration for the movie and using Holbrook as the setting.

The Wigwam Motel, also known as Wigwam Villages #6, was built in 1950 by Chester E. Lewis, after purchasing the rights to Frank Redford's original design. The first of the Wigwam Motels (#1) was built in Horse Cave, Kentucky in 1933, the one in Cave City, Kentucky was Wigwam Village #2 built in 1937. According to “Wikipedia” there were seven built altogether with the last one (#7) in Rialto, California being finished in 1949.
