Geocache Description:

First in the Dead and Down Series. I placed this cache in celebration of Animas View. The oldest cache in La Plata County - indeed it's actually one of the top 10 active oldest caches in Colorado.

The views from this spot are awesome and you can View Animas Cache from here also.The terrain is insane (3.5-4) unless you stick to the trails. They call this system of trails "The Test Track" and mountain bikers (like me) will be zooming all over, so take care. There are a couple ways of getting there. It's a good size lock-n-lock filled with goodies. Rehide it very well as this is a mugglish area. Let me know if the coords are good. It was bouncing quite a bit. Somebody please bring a pencil to leave in the cache. Thanks
