BSA Trail Blazer Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

brave.eagle: Went to check on this cache, but the area above it is posted and private now. Rather than be prosecuted, I have chosen to archive it. And I'm too old and tired to climb up to get it from down below.

Geocache Description:

Ammo Can under a huge rectangular boulder that sticks straight up in the air.

Park at the parking lot for the Golf Course Pond. Use the trail on the south side of the lake. Cross the culvert, watch for another trail, use your GPS from there.

Or, you can grab it by coming from the top from Florence Lane.

I have been a Scout for almost 40 years and have blazed many trails. This cache was initially named for my son, who also is an Eagle Scout and has blazed plenty of his own trails. Now I change the name to honor the scouting tradition and because you will have to blaze YOUR own trail to get to it.

When replaced on 4/19/18, I put some cool scout patches and pins in the cache. Enjoy!
