A regular size Lock and Lock along an old road across from a beaver lodge.
While the Route 640 (Hanwell rd) might be straight and smooth through here it wasn't always there was a time that the road followed this path. you can still see the culvert and road bed crossing this big beaver pond. sometime after they rerouted the roadway a beaver took up residence here and flooded the whole area washing out part of the old roadway.
As i was placing this cache i took a look at the nearby lodge and as i was checking out the lodge a beaver came out to check out me he wasn't to happy about me looking at his lodge and proceeded to slap his tail repeatedly until i got my reading and left the area.
