This is a Wherigo Cache, which means that you will need a
Wherigo player (Garmin Colorado, Oregon, Pocket PC, etc.) and the
related Wherigo cartridge
found here to play and find the final physical cache.

This Wherigo cartridge will take you on a tour of several City
Parks in Olivia, MN. Many of those parks have traditional geocaches
hidden in them as well, so please take your time, find the other
geocaches along the way and let any kids that are with you play for
a little while at each park.
The starting point is not technically a City Park, rather is an
area dedicated to those who have served our country in the past and
are presently serving. Please take a moment to read the plaque,
take some pictures of the Howitzer and say a word of thanks or
prayer for our soldiers.
After you visit the starting area, and each subsequent park, new
tasks and locations will become active in the Wherigo cartridge.
When you enter the zone around each area, a message will indicate
that you have completed the task. That same message will also
indicate if there are other geocaches hidden within the park.
Simply navigate to each new location to unlock the next. The
Locations screen will show the distance and bearing to the active
location you need to navigate to. Once you have visited all of the
required parks, directions to the final physical geocache location
will be unlocked.
Final cache is best approached from the park to the east of GZ,
rather than from the nearby business parking areas to prevent
muggle attention.
To log a find on this cache you will need to both:
- Find the final geocache container and sign the physical
log.
- Upload your finished wherigo cartridge or log your completion
code at wherigo.com.
This cartridge can be completed in an hour or less, especially if
you drive through it (I drove through it in about 15 minutes). In
your logs, please provide feedback on what you thought of the
cartridge. This is my first Wherigo cartridge, and as far as I can
tell only the third Wherigo cache in MN and the first outside of
the metro area, so let me know what you think.
