ENGLISH: A small cache near the old watertower of
Szombathely / MAGYAR: Egy kis geoláda a régi szombathelyi
víztorony környékén. / DEUTCH: Ein kleiner Cache in der Nähe
des alten Wasserturms von Szombathely.
ENGLISH
The old watertower of Szombathely was built in 1926 and served
until the 80's. It clearly became one of the symbols of
Szombathely. The tower has a water tank of 800 cms, which is not
used any more, since the city has built 4x2500 cms tanks at the top
of a hill in the 80's.
There are plans to use this building as a restaurant or for
something tourism related, but nothing has been decided yet.
Around the tower there is a rule of the road park, where kids can
learn and try the rules of driving. There are nice small plates and
real working traffic lights as well.
MAGYAR
A régi szombathelyi víztorony 1926-ban épült és a 80as évekig
használták. Ez alatt az ido alatt a város egyik szimbólumává vált.
A víztorony tartálya 800 köbméteres. A 80as években a parkerdo felé
vezeto úton 4db 2500 köbméteres tartály épült, és azóta a régi
víztoronyra nincs többé szükség. Vannak tervek a víztorony
turisztikai célú felhasználásra, vagy étteremmé alakítására, de
konkrét elképzelés még nem alakult ki.
A torony körül egy kis KRESZ park található aprócska táblákkal és
igazi muködo lámpákkal, ahol a gyerekek gyakorolhatják a vezetési
szabályokat.
DEUTCH
Der alte Wasserturm von Szombathely mit einem Volumen von 800
Kubikmeter wurde 1926 erbaut, wurde bis in die 80er Jahre genutzt
und ist eine eindeutige Landmarke in Szombathely. Der Turm wurde
durch vier Wassertanks mit je 2500 Kubikmeter auf der Spitze eines
Hügels in den 80er Jahren ersetzt. Es gibt Pläne dieses Gebäude
zukünftig touristisch, eventuell als Restaurant, zu nutzen. Rund um
den Turm ist ein Verkehrserziehungspark mit netten, kleinen
Schildern und richtig funktionierenden Ampeln angelegt, in dem
Kinder Verkehrsregeln lernen können.
