Restin’ in Asselstine The "Restin'" caches are a series that
will take you to local cemeteries, places of great historical
interest. From Pioneers and modern people these lovely places are
full of interesting information. Please take your time look around,
visit the past. The caches are easy to find. Please respect where
you are. Asselstine Cemetery is a small well cared for pioneer
family cemetery near the corner of Highway 41 and Napanee Road. We
often wondered why we were not stopping to do a cache here. Finally
we decided to put one here ourselves. Please enjoy walking past the
Asselstine stones while enjoying the old trees standing so proudly.
Parking is at the side of the road. There are steps up to the
cemetery. The cache is a film canister. Congratulations to
kayakers2 on FTF!
