I think it's great that so many cachers are getting kayaks. For most my life I've had canoes until a few years ago someone offered my a deal on a kayak I couldn't refuse. The first week I had it I paddled up the Econ and hid five caches. Four of those were washed away by TS Fay. Odder Otter remains. Today I went on a section of river that I haven't been on. While I was here I got a call from kindbus and found out his birthday is coming up. A little later I saw a spot that was perfect for the cache I had. It was an island today but the Little Econ changes all the time. Usually this time of year there is almost no water in it. It rained two days ago and the river is perfect for exploring.
