The cache is at the posted coordinates. Cache is a sort of cubical lock and lock wrapped in Army digital camo (ACU) tape.
This cache, and its sister cache in Lilburn, Georgia, were supposed to be challenge caches. The requirement to log the cache was for cachers to own and maintain at least five different types of caches. Unfortunately, the reviewers felt that this would just encourage some folks to hide low-quality caches just to meet the logging requirements. Since that's the last thing we wanted, the challenge had to go.
So, this is now a traditional cache, no strings attached. But the next time you are inspired to go out and hide a cache, consider making it something other than a traditional, or even a multi or puzzle cache. Put a stamp in there, make the description a little more creative, and make it a letterbox hybrid. Sponsor an event or a CITO. Come up with an earth cache (they're not that hard!). Or even write up a Wherigo.
Use your own judgment when visiting the cache. We've received notes from other cachers who stated their opinions about the surrounding area. Bottom line, if you don't feel comfortable visiting this area, that's up to you.
Congratulations to bollweevil and j1srus for FTF!
