This is an awesome canoe/kayak ride, class 1 with a little bit of
class 2, great for beginners. Enjoy this beautiful 11+km through
the winding Vermillion River from Onwatin Lake to Desmarais Street
Bridge. Trip takes about 2.5hrs, but 4 or 5hrs gives you time for
lunch and breaks. So get some friends, pack a lunch and get a few
caches all along enjoying a relaxing ride full of wildlife and
beautiful scenery. Have fun and be safe.
This is a 4 stage multi. It requires a kayak/canoe and a drop off and pick up. It
ends 11kms down river from launch (4.5kms where the crows fly).
Stage 1 Here you'll find Co-ords
for Stage 2, It's also the Pick-up spot, so park one vehicle here
or have someone able to pick you up when done. Stage 2 will have
stage 3 co-ords, and is the start of the river run. Launch
canoe/kayak here. Head west down river to Stage 3. Here you'll find
Co-ords for the Final. The Final is a great place for a break
before following the river back to Stage 1 (the pick-up zone)
