Aril der kürzeste Fluß der Welt
Am östlichen Ufer des Gardasees liegt Cassone. Dort fließt der Aril in den See. Cassone liegt nur 4 Km südlich von Malcesine entfernt.
Das Bild des kleinen Ortes wird vor allem geprägt durch den Fluß Aril, den vermutlich kürzesten Fluß der Welt. Dieser entspringt oberhalb des Ortes fließt durch das alte Zentrum und mündet nahe dem Hafen in den Gardasee.
Schon 1913 verewigte der österreichische Künstler Gustav Klimt den Ort Cassone während seines Ferienaufenthaltes im nahen Malcesine.
Das Gemälde nannte er Kirche in Cassone am Gardasee (ital.: Chiesa a Cassone sul Garda).

Sulla costa orientale del Lago i flussi di Garda dell'Aril da Cassone nel lago. Cassone è solo 4 chilometri da Malcesine lontano.
Il quadro del piccolo posto è soprattutto impresso da Aril fluviale, il fiume con ogni probabilità più corto del mondo.
