This nano hide takes you to the Wawota Splash Park and campgrounds area. A great place to let the kids unwind on a hot summer day.
Wawota is located along the eastern portion of hiway #48. The population is about 525. Wawota celebrated their 100 year anniversary in August of 2008 although the actual date is in December of 2007. This splash park and campgrounds were constructed as part of the centennial preparations. It was largely funded through donations and volunteer labour. Congratulations Wawota.
