Geocache Description:

Walk in Point St. Peter

In the late 19th century, Pointe St-Pierre was one of the sites of the most important fishing in the Gaspé. Exposure to wind has driven the fishermen and they settled in coves less exposed. It remains today a few lobster fishermen. I leave you to assess the strength of winds and imagine them in storms. At 700 m from the edge you can see the Île Plate.

Continuing your walk eastward, you'll be surprised to see Bonaventure Island, Perce Rock ans the mountains behind Perce.
