Geocache Description:

A simple puzzle cache to find an unusual small container. Tweezers would be useful to retrieve the log and you will need your own pen or pencil.

The cache is along a short stretch of level footpath which follows the route of the old Nottingham Canal.

The listed co-ordinates are NOT for the final location but a car park nearby.

You're looking for a long standing MP who's sheltering a local resident at:

N 52 (H)(B).(F)(D)(E) W 001 (A)(B).(A)(G)(C)

It's unlikely they were mentioned at the first public meeting about the canal in (ABCD). Parliament would have already been aware of them before the canal was promoted during (ABCE). They would have stood by the time the canal opened in (ABCF). If you walked the entire length of the canal to find them you would cover (AG.BH) miles.

Please handle the container with care and keep an eye out for biking muggles.
