The valley provides a wonderful experience of local flora. In the area of the cache one can find quite a lot of Maltese Rock Centaury (Widnet il-Bahar), The Maltese National Plant which is endemic to the island. Do be careful not to damage these plants when walking or climbing in the area. Also it is illegal to take cuttings from thing plant.
