Westfarthing Wander 1, First in a series of caches out beyond the LOTR caches on the Helm, accessed from the Old Hutton road out of Kendal.
A cache near a stile along the delicious Highgate Lane, a green lane between the B6254 and Low Blease farm.
I would have said very quiet because I had NEVER met anyone walking here but today we were nearly muggled by walkers just as we were placing the cache! A first time for everything I suppose.
Contains standard stuff, log book, pen, pencil & pencil sharpener etc along with some swaps and assorted woodland trust givaways and an "easy cache" pin badge as FTF prize!
Please note this is NOT in the wall and NO stones need to be moved to spot or indeed retrieve this cache. Take care of the flora and try not to trample a "follow me" path to the cache!
Congrats to the Clarkes on their FTF (despite our warnings!)
